Job Description
Here at TrustedHousesitters, we’re on a mission to make travel work better for pets, for their people, and for the global community of animal lovers who look after them. We’ve got big plans on becoming the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people. We’ve built something pretty special: a trusted place where pet owners and sitters connect to keep pets happy at home while their humans explore the world.
We’ve already grown into a global community with members in over 140 countries, a product people genuinely love, and a team of more than 100 brilliant humans powering it all.
But we’re only just getting started. Our goal? To grow to 1 million members and make TrustedHousesitters the world’s most-loved travel solution for pet people.
At the moment, a sit starts every two minutes somewhere on the planet. We want that to be every single minute and we know the only way we’ll get there is with the right people in the right roles.
The right people in the right roles will shape our future. So, here’s the big question: Could that be you?

Growth Lead
Reports to:
Director of Growth Marketing
The Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Growth Lead to help us accelerate new customer acquisition!
You’ll work full funnel with marketing, data and product to create new demand, capture it efficiently and improve conversion. You’ll spin many plates, align cross functional teams and drive tactical decisions that help us grow. This role reports directly into our Director of Growth Marketing, placing you at the heart of our growth strategy.
We have ambitious growth goals. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy a challenge and a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. You’ll need to be a skilled orchestrator, operating across teams and projects, bringing structure and clarity to shifting priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Channel Partner: Collaborate with channel leads to shape and optimise campaigns up and down the funnel.
Budget Stewardship: Oversee short-term tactical decision making around paid media budget pacing and allocation to more efficiently drive growth.
Program Management: Activate teams and create alignment across stakeholders to ship initiatives at pace. You’ll lead on key projects end-to-end, keeping communication lines strong as new priorities emerge.
Executive Communication: Write clear, concise updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders primarily in document form, occasionally slides.
Measurement & Incrementally: Partner with Data to evolve how we measure and report on acquisition, with a focus on incrementally, MMM and forecasting to support efficient capital deployment. You’ll also help manage stakeholder expectations with what is (and isn’t) possible to measure in marketing.
Tech Utilisation: Collaborate with MarTech/Engineering/Data to improve tracking, experimentation infrastructure and workflow automation/AI.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with key growth partners, including Product and Finance, to get buy-in and alignment on initiatives.
Experimentation: Define hypotheses, set up measurement frameworks, monitor and analyse results, translating learnings into playbooks that help us grow faster.
Finger on the Pulse: Things can change, fast. You’ll closely monitor daily internal metrics and broader category demand to keep us on top of unexpected shifts that might necessitate adjusting the plan.
Campaigns: Occasionally lead marketing campaigns that help us drive growth.
Who you are:
Marketing Generalist: You have exposure to a wide variety of marketing channels and understand the different roles they play in the funnel. You have a strong grounding in paid media and experience with scale-up-sized media budgets.
Cross-functional Operator & Natural Aligner: A key part of this role will be activating teams and co-ordinating across projects to move at pace, especially as our team grows. You can spin many plates, create alignment and organise yourself (and others) so that we can deliver at greater velocity.
Excellent Verbal & Written Communicator: You can translate complex domain-specific concepts to non-experts. You understand the level of detail and context that is required for different audiences. You’re able to contribute to C-suite-level written analysis of performance.
Data Literate: You have a strong grasp of relevant analytics concepts. You know how we can (and can’t) measure user behaviour. You can self-serve, only leaning on the Data team for more complex tasks. You’ve run experiments and used A/B testing tools before.
Commercially Aware: You’re able to understand how a business makes money, and how you and other teams contribute to growing it.
Thrive in Ambiguity: You’re comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-moving environment that is constantly evolving.
Driven & Curious: You want to understand how and why things work (or why they don’t). You proactively seek out ways to improve performance, challenge assumptions and strive to take things to the next level.
Bias to Action and Impact: You value shipping fast over polishing endlessly – not because you cut corners, but because you optimise for learning and iteration.
Constantly Learning: You’re always seeking to develop your skill set, both within your role and in adjacent areas. You stay up to date with recent trends, seeking to operate at the forefront of your field consistently as it evolves.
Bonus if you have:
Experience working in a variety of business environments, particularly within fast paced start/scale-ups, marketplaces, travel or pets.
Proficiency with data exploration tools like Mode, Looker, Amplitude. Enthusiasm for learning SQL and/or prior experience is also a major plus.
Experience utilising behavioural science techniques to connect with audiences.
