Job Description

Position Overview:

The Director of Product will serve as the central conduit of information across sales, marketing, content, design, development, and operations. This role is charged with owning the full product lifecycle from concept through launch to ongoing optimization while ensuring that content is market-relevant,  accountable that sales targets are achieved, marketing is aligned, and the product roadmap is continuously maintained on a rolling 12-month cadence. 

While this role does not currently have direct reports, it requires strong leadership, influence, and cross-functional collaboration skills to bring teams together and drive product success. 

What You'll Do

    • Develop, own, and maintain a product roadmap for a defined market or product line within the Healthcare portfolio. 
    • Ensure roadmap is maintained on a rolling 12-month cycle, with clear priorities, milestones, and business impact. 
    • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and content teams to ensure alignment of roadmap with business objectives, customer needs, and revenue targets. 
    • Act as the primary conduit of product information, ensuring consistent communication and alignment across sales, marketing, operations, and development. 
    • Partner with content teams to ensure offerings are accurate, compliant, and aligned to market needs. 
    • Coordinate go-to-market strategies with sales and marketing leaders, ensuring strong execution and adoption. 
    • Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities, threats, and trends. 
    • Regularly engage with customers to gather feedback and translate insights into actionable product improvements. 
    • Monitor healthcare industry standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory and/or certifying agency changes that impact product offerings. 
    • Define and track key product performance metrics; report outcomes across leadership and cross-functional teams. 
    • Build business cases for new initiatives and ensure the financial viability of proposed products. 
    • Drive accountability across teams to achieve revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction goals. 

What You'll Need to Succeed

    • 8+ years of progressive product management experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or strategic product role. 
    • Bachelor's degree required; Technology, Healthcare Administration, Education or related field preferred. 
    • Demonstrated history of bringing products to market and driving measurable business growth. 
    • Experience aligning product strategy with enterprise goals and managing stakeholder expectations 
    • Familiarity with compliance frameworks, clinical workflows, or learning accreditation standards. 
    • Experience with Salesforce, or other LMS platforms.  
    • Experience and/or qualifications to develop and level AI solutions   
    • Experience mentoring product managers or leading cross-functional pods within a matrixed operating model.  
    • Familiarity with product design frameworks (e.g., Design Canvas). 
    • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or education is strongly preferred, with familiarity in regulatory environments (e.g., HIPAA, FERPA, CE/CME standards) 
    • Strong ability to lead without direct authority, bringing cross-functional teams into alignment. 
    • Comfortable facilitating discussions, negotiating priorities, and building consensus across diverse stakeholders. 
    • Proven ability to translate customer insights and business requirements into effective product strategies. 
    • Adept at breaking down complex, long-term projects into actionable, phased execution plans. 
    • Strong business acumen with an eye for usability and customer experience. 
    • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to convey complex ideas simply. 
    • Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. 
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with leadership direction.
