Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Associate Data Consultant to join our data and analytics team, working closely with internal stakeholders across trading, risk, and operations. This is an exceptional opportunity for an entry-level professional (0-2 years post-graduation) to immediately apply foundational analytical and technical skills to complex financial market data, generating insights that directly drive our sophisticated, data-driven trading strategies.

At Tradeify.co, we specialize in multi-asset trading powered by cutting-edge technology. Our core mission is to empower exceptional traders by providing significant capital and state-of-the-art data infrastructure. The Associate Data Consultant serves as the bridge between raw data and strategic business decisions, helping teams understand performance, identify opportunities, and optimize operational efficiency.

The Opportunity

    • Consulting & Scoping: Collaborate with trading, risk, and operations leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and gather requirements for new data products and analytical projects.
    • Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Conduct deep-dive analysis on real-time and historical trading data (patterns, performance, drawdowns, and latency) to uncover actionable business insights.
    • Reporting & Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain dynamic data dashboards and reports (e.g., performance benchmarking, risk exposure) using BI tools to provide clear, immediate visibility into trading performance.
    • Data Quality & Governance: Assist in monitoring data quality, integrity, and cleanliness across various trading platforms and internal data warehouse systems.
    • Operational Data & Control Systems: Contribute to the design and data-feed integrity of real-time monitoring and alerting systems used for live trader risk assessment, supporting manual control interventions by risk analysts (e.g., temporary trade suspensions or account lockouts triggered by position limit breaches).
    • Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of analytical methodologies, data lineage, and consulting engagement outcomes for knowledge transfer across teams.

Required Qualifications

    • Strong analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas) for data review and ad-hoc analysis.
    • Proven programming ability with a primary focus on a strong willingness to learn and apply Python for data manipulation and analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).
    • Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business insights for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Familiarity with data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
    • Experience or coursework utilizing Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for dashboard creation.
    • Fundamental understanding of financial markets, trading concepts (e.g., P&L, Sharpe Ratio, volatility), and quantitative risk metrics.
    • Experience supporting operational processes in a high-stakes, real-time environment.
