About the Role:
We’re partnering with a leading GIS consulting company to hire a Business Project Analyst who will play a hybrid role across business analysis, project coordination, and SQL-based data analysis.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who thrive in cross-functional environments and can adapt to multiple project phases and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into clear functional specifications.
- Perform SQL data mapping and querying to support project and product development.
- Act as liaison between stakeholders, technical teams, and clients to ensure shared understanding of goals.
- Conduct product validation, usability testing, and maintain relevant documentation.
- Manage schedules, workflows, and deliverables using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Serve as Product Owner for Scrum teams when needed: prioritize tasks and maintain stakeholder communication.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality business, technical, and project documentation.
Must to Have
- 3–5 years of experience in business analysis or project coordination roles.
- Proficiency in SQL (mandatory).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar project tools.
- Proactive, self-starter, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
