Job Description

We are seeking a high-performing Senior Manager, Ecommerce to own optimization and performance across our US and Canadian Shopify sites. This role will focus heavily on conversion rate optimization (CRO), onsite merchandising, and ecommerce analytics, with clear ownership of revenue-driving initiatives across the full customer journey.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on—someone who can identify opportunities through data, execute structured testing, and partner effectively with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, Developers, CX, and Operations) to deliver best-in-class onsite experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Performance & Optimization

  • Own the day-to-day performance of the ecommerce sites (US + Canada), focused on conversion rate, AOV, and revenue growth.
  • Analyze onsite behavior including traffic trends, funnel drop-offs, PDP performance, onsite search, cart, and checkout to uncover optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a structured CRO roadmap, aligned with business goals and seasonal priorities.
  • Plan, run, and evaluate A/B tests across key site areas including PDPs, PLPs, homepage, navigation, bundling, and promotions.

Onsite Merchandising & Customer Experience

  • Own onsite merchandising strategy including:
    • Collections and product hierarchy
    • Recommendations/cross-sells
    • Badging and promotional placements
    • Content positioning and product storytelling
  • Translate marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotions into high-performing onsite experiences, in partnership with Marketing and Creative.
  • Partner with CX and Operations to ensure smooth customer journeys, clear onsite communication, and minimal friction across the purchase experience.

Data, Reporting & KPI Ownership

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting systems to monitor key ecommerce KPIs (conversion, AOV, revenue, funnel performance, test impacts).
  • Communicate insights clearly and effectively to internal stakeholders to guide decision-making and prioritization.
  • Track performance against targets and continuously refine strategy based on results and learnings.

Cross-functional Leadership & Execution

  • Work closely with web developers to:
    • Provide clear briefs and requirements
    • Prioritize technical workstreams
    • Define acceptance criteria
    • QA site changes and customizations
  • Drive efficient execution in a fast-moving environment with limited existing structure.
  • Stay current on ecommerce best practices and identify opportunities to pilot new tools, including AI/automation workflows to streamline operations and performance.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • Conversion rate improves through consistent high-quality testing and optimization.
  • Onsite merchandising becomes more structured and revenue-driven.
  • Clear KPI visibility across the funnel with accurate reporting and actionable insights.
  • Efficient cross-functional execution that results in better site performance and customer experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in ecommerce management, growth, or CRO within DTC ecommerce brands.
  • Strong track record improving conversion rate and revenue through testing and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify (or similar ecommerce platform).
  • Strong familiarity with ecommerce analytics and CRO tools such as:
    • Google Analytics (GA4 preferred)
    • Heatmaps/session recordings
    • A/B testing platforms
  • Strong data skills: ability to build reports, extract insights, and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience with onsite merchandising and aligning site experiences to marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to manage technical execution with developers through briefs, QA, and structured rollout processes.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar.
  • Experience in fashion/accessories or other highly visual and launch-driven ecommerce categories.
  • Exposure to AI tools/workflows that improve ecommerce efficiency, merchandising, analytics, or optimization systems.
