About tonies:
tonies® makes the Toniebox, a screen-free audio system that brings stories and music to life for kids—from beloved classics and Disney favorites to personalized recordings from family and friends. This summer, tonies US is offering a 10-week Secondhand Market Project Internship as part of our Summer Internship Program.

In this role, you’ll join a curious and collaborative team exploring how families engage with tonies products in secondary marketplaces across the U.S. and EU. You’ll help analyze pricing trends, availability, and demand signals, and turn data into insights that support real business decisions. We don’t expect you to know everything on day one—what matters most is curiosity, comfort working with numbers, and a desire to learn.

This internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful impact. You’ll collaborate closely with Marketing and Consumer Insights partners and see how your work helps shape future marketplace strategy and product development.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze data from secondary marketplaces to understand pricing, inventory, and demand trends

  • Support research on consumer behavior and market dynamics in the U.S. and EU

  • Help combine quantitative analysis with qualitative insights

  • Summarize findings and share clear, thoughtful insights with stakeholders

  • Contribute to recommendations that inform marketplace and product strategy

What we are looking for:
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program

  • Strong interest in analytics, strategy, or market research

  • Academic background in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, or a related field

  • Comfortable working with data and learning new tools

  • Detail-oriented, curious, and thoughtful in your approach

  • Able to work independently while staying connected with a team

Program Overview

  • Duration: June 1 – August 8 

  • Part-time: up to 30 hours/week

  • Compensation: $25/hour 

  • Eligibility: Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
