Project – the aim you’ll have
Our client is a gaming company established to reform the national gaming system. Operating under the principle of exclusivity, its mission is to provide games responsibly, mitigate gambling-related risks, and ensure player protection while preventing fraud.
The company offers a wide range of games divided into three main categories: Lucky Games, Casino Games, and Betting Games. It emphasizes operating responsibly and contributing to a safe and secure gaming environment.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Supporting the migration from Pentaho to dbt by rewriting, modeling, and modernizing existing data transformations.
- Building, maintaining, and optimizing SQL‑based ELT pipelines.
- Working with Google Cloud Platform components, especially BigQuery, in our cloud-native data environment.
- Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, and business teams
Qualifications
Expectations – the experience you need
- Strong experience in SQL (our most important requirement)
- Experience working with data pipelines or ETL/ELT workflows
- Ability to understand and improve existing data models and logic
- Willingness to learn dbt and modern ELT practices if not already familiar
Additional skills – the edge you have
- Experience with Google BigQuery
- Hands-on dbt experience (dbt Core or dbt Cloud)
- Experience with Pentaho (helpful but not required)
- Knowledge of cloud-based data architecture and version- controlled development
