Role Summary

We are looking for an EMEA-based Solutions Engineer with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach.

Over the past 2 years, we’ve been expanding and partnering with more—and larger—Enterprise customers like Netflix, Wix, and DoorDash.

As a Solutions Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in driving the success of our Enterprise customers. You'll serve as a trusted technical partner to our Sales and Partnerships team, helping prospects and clients understand how Photoroom’s solutions can transform their visual workflows. You'll leverage our existing technical playbook and proactively contribute to its improvement.

The majority of our Enterprise customers integrate via our API, so this role requires a strong technical foundation along with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both developers and business stakeholders.

Compensation: €92-114k + Stock-Options/BSPCE

Location: Remote across Europe with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed)

About the role

  • You will partner with the Sales team to lead technical discovery, run demos, and build proofs of concept that showcase the value of our platform.

  • You will act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective and existing enterprise customers.

  • You will design and propose tailored integration solutions based on each customer’s tech stack, goals, and product roadmap.

  • You will own the technical implementation experience—from onboarding to deployment—ensuring a smooth and efficient integration process.

  • You will create high-quality documentation, including API references, integration guides, and tutorials.

  • You will capture customer feedback and collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform our roadmap.

  • You will identify and document common use cases, integration patterns, and troubleshooting steps to enable internal teams.

About you

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role, ideally within a SaaS or API-first company.

  • You have hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and are proficient in tools such as Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and basic scripting or integration logic.

  • You have hands-on coding experience with languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar, and can write scripts, build proof-of-concept integrations, and troubleshoot technical implementations alongside customers and internal teams.

  • You’ve created technical documentation, integration guides, or implementation playbooks, and can explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • You’re confident in running live demos and technical deep dives with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business functions.

  • You can independently scope and propose integration solutions based on a client’s tech stack, requirements, and constraints.

  • You have a track record of collaborating closely with engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence the product roadmap.

  • You manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver on time with a high level of attention to detail.

  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken); fluency in other languages is a plus.

  • Bonus: You have experience with computer vision, ML-based image generation, or media infrastructure (e.g., working with images, graphics, or content delivery pipelines).

If you think you have what it takes but don't meet every single point above, please still apply. We'd love to chat and see if you could be a great fit.

Benefits

  • Work flexibly from anywhere in Europe within a 3-hour flight from Paris (HQ)

  • Regular team gatherings, including in-person onboarding in Paris (1-2 weeks), yearly company offsite and team retreat, quarterly in-person meetings (monthly during probation period), and social events like winter party and hackathons.

  • 30 days annual leave plus local public holidays

  • Competitive equity package with stock options/BSPCE, giving you ownership in our growing company

  • 1000 one-time home office grant OR €400 per month co-working space stipend

  • €1,000 annual learning and development budget for training, courses, books, and skill development

  • Private health insurance

  • Access to personalised mental health support, including 1:1 sessions with therapists or coaches, self-care tools, and well-being resources via MokaCare

  • Sports and cultural activities reimbursement

  • Relocation support (up to 10k) available for those choosing to move to France, including apartment finding and visa assistance.

Note: Visa sponsorship and relocation support are only available for positions based in France. We cannot sponsor visas for remote positions outside of France.
