Job Description

Responsibilities

    • Design, build, and maintain large-scale data infrastructure to support global fiat products, including on/off-ramp, payment channels, and compliance systems.
    • Develop high-performance backend services using Java to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and real-time analytics.
    • Own end-to-end data pipelines and internal platforms that enable monitoring, reporting, fraud detection, and operational insights for fiat transactions.
    • Work with product, data, compliance, and risk teams to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
    • Optimize service performance, improve system reliability, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across distributed systems.
    • Implement CI/CD, service observability (metrics, logs, tracing), and contribute to overall platform stability.
    • Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Requirements

    • Solid backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot / microservices).
    • Hands-on experience building data infrastructure, including distributed data processing, data pipelines, and streaming systems.
    • Familiarity with Kafka, Flink/Spark, Redis, MySQL/PostgreSQL, or other large-scale data storage and compute engines.
    • Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and reliability principles.
    • Experience building services that support large volumes of financial or transactional data is a strong plus.
    • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-ownership environments; able to take projects from design to production independently.
    • Experience with Web3/crypto or payments/fiat systems is a plus, but not mandatory.
    • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, product, and operations teams.
    • Experience with big data technologies (Flink, Spark, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, etc.)
    • Understanding of financial data models, reconciliation, fraud signals, or compliance data flows.
    • Familiarity with cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker).
