TL;DR

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Frontend Engineer, specialising in frontend architecture, to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a scalable, high-performance web application that delivers exceptional user experiences. Your expertise in React.js, state management with MobX, and frontend performance optimization will be crucial in building applications that cater to millions of users.

As a Senior Web Frontend Engineer, you’ll engage with technologies like Typescript, React.js, MobX, Canvas, TailwindCSS, Turborepo, Vite, Playwright, Web Performance.

Compensation: 80k€-100k€* + Stock-Options/BSPCE

Location: Remote across Europe with monthly Paris office visits (fully reimbursed)

*We can go higher for outstanding profiles and adapt to the cost of living if it is higher than in Paris.

About the role

  • You will architect and develop a scalable and high-performing web application using React.js, TypeScript.

  • You will effectively manage the application state, ensuring responsive and efficient user interfaces with MobX.

  • You will own your work from A to Z: collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate frontend components with backend services, implementation of design specs, plan workload, communicate risks, analyse the product design complexity

  • You will optimize web application performance, focusing on rendering speed and runtime efficiency.

  • You will continuously stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and best practices, integrating them into our projects to drive innovation and excellence.

  • You will work within a small multicultural team of ~80 passionate, friendly & committed folks.

About you

  • You have proven experience in architecting and developing large-scale web applications, like SaaS platforms that have scaled to millions of users and/or 10s of developers.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of React.js and a strong understanding of component-based architecture.

  • You have expertise with state management using MobX or good knowledge of the observer pattern

  • You have good communication skills: you don’t hesitate to reach out to the relevant stakeholders to gather the right information, and you know how to showcase your work.

  • You are autonomous, pragmatic & favor speed of iteration over perfect. You believe that fast iteration is the best way to learn.

  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break complex technical challenges into smaller ones and deliver them
