About the Team

  • You’ll join one of our Operator Console pods—a small, agile team of 4–6 engineers responsible for Python and React services at the core of our platform.
  • We operate in two-week sprints, communicate openly, and own our services from design through deployment and support.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Design and develop frontend applications and features for healthcare communications platforms
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on technical implementation and architectural decisions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following established best practices
  • Contribute to code reviews and learn from feedback to continuously improve code quality
  • Work with cross-functional teams including product, design, backend engineers, and clinical stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Participate in agile development processes and team ceremonies
  • Stay current with modern frontend development practices and healthcare technology trends
  • Support and mentor junior team members as opportunities arise

What You'll Bring to the Team

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional frontend development experience
  • Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript for building interactive user interfaces
  • Working knowledge of the React ecosystem including hooks, context, and state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.)
  • Experience building responsive web applications with modern CSS techniques
  • Familiarity with integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services
  • Basic understanding of WebSocket connections for real-time communications
  • Knowledge of PubNub or similar real-time messaging platforms for event-driven architectures
  • Experience with CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker
  • Understanding of frontend performance considerations and debugging tools

Beneficial Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Django or other web frameworks.
  • Exposure to telephony software using Twilio Voice and Taskrouter/Flex.
  • Experience with a message queue system like RabbitMQ.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus).
  • Familiarity with agentic software development patterns and AI-assisted automation workflows; comfort using AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor).

We offer a salary range of $110,000-140,000 per year, with compensation tailored to your background, strengths, and potential to grow within the team.
The salary range listed for this role reflects our commitment to pay transparency and is based on market data, internal equity, and the scope of responsibilities. compensation will be determined by a combination of factors, including the candidate’s experience, skills, and the specific team or product area they support.
