Job Description

Remote Android Developer

Salary : RM 15,000 - RM 20,000

Industry: Cryptocurrency Exchange

Maintenance of Android base components and underlying framework libraries.

  1. Handle updates and technical upgrades of base components, as well as promote and implement them across all business modules.
  2. Monitor the usage of base components and adjust them promptly according to business requirements.
  3. Maintain high standards for the availability, deployment quality, and code quality of base components.
  4. Demonstrate strong initiative, including proactively identifying issues, resolving problems, assisting others in problem-solving, and anticipating risks.
  5. Actively comply with company and Team Leader arrangements to ensure smooth team operations and project progress.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree in Computer Science or related field, with approximately 5 years of Android development experience and expertise in Android platform app development.
  2. Proficient in Java and Kotlin languages, with deep knowledge of IO, multi-threaded concurrency, operational mechanisms, and JVM principles.
  3. In-depth understanding of common Android Framework system mechanisms, such as AMS (Activity Manager Service) and PMS (Package Manager Service) principles.
  4. Expertise in app framework design, component library technical solutions, and API design.
  5. Prior experience in developing and promoting component libraries is preferred.
  6. Strong logical thinking skills with the ability to quickly identify, analyze, and resolve issues.
  7. Excellent work initiative, including proactively identifying and resolving problems, assisting others, and anticipating risks.
  8. Contributions to open-source projects or ownership of an open-source project is a plus.
  9. Experience in developing apps related to digital currency, blockchain, or securities industries is preferred.
