Remote
We’re looking for a Product Designer with strong execution skills, visual craft, and attention to detail to join the NFHS Network design team. NFHS Network is the leading platform for streaming high school sports and events across the U.S., and we’re actively modernizing the experience across our core product and growth initiatives.

As a Product Designer, you’ll go deep on individual features—bringing high-impact improvements to life through well-crafted, brand-aligned interfaces and clear, structured documentation. You’ll work closely with a Senior Product Designer while collaborating with product managers, engineers, and growth marketers to optimize user journeys, increase engagement, and improve conversion across the platform.

The Outcomes You’ll Deliver
·      Accelerate subscription growth and revenue through improved checkout flows
·      Provide insights from prototyping and testing new designs with users
·      Deliver visual designs and variants for onboarding experiments that improve activation rate

In This Role, You Can Expect To

    • Design polished, production-ready UI for web and mobile features that reflect NFHS Network's brand and meet accessibility standards
    • Take ownership of specific feature areas across both the core product (e.g., streaming interface, search, subscription flows) and growth experiments (e.g., onboarding, upsell moments, landing pages)
    • Create high-quality mockups, responsive designs, and interaction flows with thoughtful edge case handling
    • Write clear, well-organized design documentation that supports developer handoff and tooling integration
    • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and marketers to deliver effective, feasible solutions
    • Participate in design critiques, QA reviews, and iteration cycles to continuously improve the user experience

To Thrive In This Role, You Have

    • 3–5 years of experience in product design with a portfolio that demonstrates strong visual polish and user-focused design
    • Proficiency in Figma, with experience creating clean, organized files ready for engineering handoff
    • Ability to produce clear documentation that supports communication, implementation, and use in modern design workflows, including AI-powered tools
    • Strong attention to detail, especially in layout, interaction design, and consistency across breakpoints
    • Comfort working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams and iterating based on feedback and user needs

How You Play

    • Ownership over Participation- You take responsibility for achieving holistic outcomes, prioritize key objectives, and adapt quickly when situations require a different approach. You follow through even against the toughest challenges.

    • Team over Stars- You are a bridge builder, establishing processes and relationships with teams outside your own. You work to rally around common goals, find win-win solutions, compromise when necessary, and help others succeed.

    • Growth over Comfort- You are driven by a desire to grow and actively seek opportunities to expand your comfort zone, skills, and confidence. You embrace new challenges with curiosity, accepting discomfort and failure as opportunities to learn.

    • Fairness over Popularity- You approach decisions with a scientist’s mindset, challenging your assumptions and remaining objective. You consider long-term impact rather than relying on short-term gains, proactively seek others’ perspectives, and manage emotions in decision-making.
