Weâre a team of 80+ designers, researchers, and brand experts led by Chief Design Officer Vuokko Aro. Weâre on a mission to make money work for everyone. Product Design makes up almost half of our design disciplines, working in tight-knit squads alongside research, product, and engineering to solve real customer problems at scale.

As a Senior Product Designer at Monzo, youâll shape the future of banking by crafting seamless, customer-centric experiences. Youâll partner with research, product, and engineering to define problems, explore solutions, and deliver high-impact work that moves the needle, not just for your squad, but for millions of Monzo users.
Youâll balance vision with execution, ensuring every pixel and interaction aligns with our design principles while pushing boundaries where it matters. From refining complex flows to contributing to our design system, your work will set the bar for quality and coherence across our product.

- You deeply understand customer problems and translate insights into intuitive, scalable designs - whether through research, data, or collaboration.
- You navigate ambiguity with confidence, defining the right process for the problem and adapting as needed.
- You think in systems, crafting end-to-end experiences that feel cohesive
- You have expertise in native app design (iOS/Android), balancing platform conventions with Monzoâs design system to create fast, fluid, and delightful experiences.
- You elevate design quality through precise UI, strong UX writing, and a keen eye for accessibility and delight.
- You build strong partnerships, working closely with engineers, researchers, and PMs to ship exceptional work
- You champion progress, whether through mentoring, improving team processes, or tackling tough challenges head-on.

1-hour craft interview where youâll present a single case study to 2 members of our Design team.
2 x 45-minute interviews covering Teamwork and Impact.
