And as a mental health company, we take employee mental health just as seriously as we do our mission. At BetterHelp, you’ll carve your own path, make an immediate impact, and be challenged every day – with a supportive community behind you the whole way.

What are we looking for?

BetterHelp is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Client Growth with deep experience driving growth in consumer (B2C) products. This role will focus on some of our most critical growth levers, including free-to-paid conversion, monetization and packaging, upgrades, churn reduction, and winback. This is a highly visible role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly from insight to execution, and is obsessed with using data to drive impact and prioritization. You’ll own initiatives end-to-end and be expected to model impact, evaluate tradeoffs, and deliver measurable business results — all while helping more people access mental health support.

What will you do?

  • Own and lead high-impact client growth initiatives that materially impact revenue, conversion, and long-term customer value.
  • Drive strategy and execution across key growth areas including conversion optimization, upgrades, pricing and packaging, monetization experiments, churn reduction, and winback programs.
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize growth opportunities using a combination of data analysis, impact modeling, and experimentation.
  • Develop clear product requirements, success metrics, and experiment designs to maximize learning and business impact.
  • Build and maintain forecasting and impact models to inform prioritization, roadmap decisions, and executive communication.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality experiences efficiently in an agile environment.
  • Collaborate with Design to create user experiences that are both intuitive and effective at driving growth outcomes.
  • Perform UAT and functional QA to ensure launches meet quality and performance standards.
  • Internally: Work cross-functional with all parts of the company (development, support, marketing, business development, operations) in order to (a) convert their insights into product improvements; and (b) to convey the performed changes to them and to make sure they are being integrated and used effectively.
  • Externally: Connect with all external stakeholders (members, providers, marketing channels, business partners, regulators) both inbound and outbound to make sure our product is meeting their needs and requirements.
  • Participate in defining growth strategy and long-term product direction for the client experience.
  • Own and obsess over core growth KPIs, continuously seeking opportunities to optimize and improve performance.
  • In a nutshell: [Ideate, execute, test, measure, analyze, learn, iterate] x ∞

What will you NOT do?

  • You will NOT worry about "runway", "cash left", or "how much time we have until the next round". We have the startup DNA but we're fully backed and funded, all the way to success.
  • You will NOT be confined to your "job". You will get involved in product, marketing, business strategy, and almost everything we do.
  • You will NOT be bogged down by office politics, ego, or bad attitude. Only positive, pleasure-to-work-with people are allowed here!
  • You will NOT get yourself burned out. We work hard but we believe in maintaining a sustainable work/life balance. Really.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate on PST and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We ask employees to travel to our San Jose, CA office up to three times per year plus one company-wide offsite to collaborate in person and strengthen working relationships. Travel expenses are covered and reasonable accommodations are made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements

  • 5-7  years+ of experience in a product role at a B2C company and proven success through measurable impact and increasing responsibilities.
