Within Anaplan’s Workforce Applications team as a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the applications for planning, forecasting and reporting use cases, with responsibility for overseeing the product lifecycle of specific applications, from concept to delivery. You will collaborate with Application Solutions Architects and other application product management teams, guide and advise our Application Developers, and ensure the successful adoption and implementation of these applications by our GTM, Professional Services and Partner ecosystems. 
 
This is a unique opportunity for an innovative, results-driven product manager to drive Anaplan’s Workforce solutions. The role requires proven product management expertise, the ability to optimize process, rigorous attention to detail and deadlines, and outstanding communication and presentation skills.  Experience in Workforce Planning processes and technology will be given preference.  We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in Contact Center Operations and capacity planning processes. 
 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate defining and managing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for specific Workforce Applications targeting operations leaders and HR. 
  • Drive the delivery of Workforce Applications incorporating the suite of Anaplan platform components (including model and UX building, user management, data integration, data modeling, reporting, Forecaster, agentic AI etc.) by: 
  • Gathering and prioritizing application requirements from internal/external SMEs and customers. 
  • Documenting and managing the application design, resourcing, workplan and critical paths, from approval to delivery; Ensuring adherence to best practices, application building standards, and project timelines. 
  • Collaborate with Anaplan QA teams to develop test plans, automate testing processes, and identify and resolve defects. 
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of your products 
  • Partner with Customers, Anaplan’s Platform Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, and GTM Enablement Teams to ensure seamless integration of Workforce Applications into Anaplan’s GTM motion by: 
  • Supporting the creation of compelling conceptual demos and all supporting content including training, guides, play books to empower partners and internal teams.  
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for Workforce Applications, including user guides, release notes, and technical specifications. 

Key Metrics 

  • Delivery to the market of Workforce Applications and feature enhancements 
  • Adoption and successful completion of enablement by Anaplan Teams 
  • Deliver valuable solutions that drive sales of Workforce Applications 
  • Evaluation and feedback from Product Management, Sales, Solution Consulting, Professional Services, and GTM Enablement. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Relations, or related field. Advanced degree preferred 
  • Proven experience in product management and application development, with a focus on workforce operations related software solutions 
  • Strong understanding of HR teams and workforce operations planning processes, methodologies, and systems  
  • Experience building multi-dimensional planning systems, ideally on the Anaplan platform or with similar technologies 
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment 
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Desire to have fun at work while promoting collaboration and innovation

Base Salary Range:

$137,000 - $197,000 USD
