Why this role matters

Developers rely on our Client SDKs to deliver seamless video streaming experiences across web and mobile applications. As Product Manager for Client Video Streaming, you’ll own the vision and execution for client SDKs, API usability, and streaming performance.  The role is a great fit for a product manager with a background in software development, who is looking to guide product capabilities that directly impact developer adoption and customer success. 

What you will do

  • Define and manage the product roadmap for Client SDKs (JavaScript, iOS, Android) and media streaming capabilities.
  • Partner with engineering to prioritize features, resolve technical trade-offs, and ensure developer-first product design.
  • Drive adoption of client-side AI capabilities, including live captions and intelligent media enhancements.
  • Lead initiatives to improve video/audio streaming quality, latency, and performance.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, portfolio gaps and new product opportunities to guide differentiation.
  • Drive global cross-functional teams including engineering, PM, marketing, customer success to develop new video product offerings
  • Serve as the voice of the developer, collaborating with Developer Relations and Marketing to drive product adoption.

  • Strong technical foundation, ideally with software development experience.
  • Expertise in WebRTC, JavaScript Web APIs, and native SDKs (iOS/Android).
  • Ability to prototype with APIs and understand developer workflows.
  • Skilled at translating developer needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data, inform product decisions and measure success.

What is required for application

Required

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably with software development background
  • Demonstrated ability to prototype using product APIs.
  • Strong record of cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Desired

  • Hands-on programming experience.
  • Prior work with WebRTC-based video communications.
  • Experience integrating AI into real-time communications.
  • Familiarity with CPaaS technologies, especially SIP and VoIP telephony.
