About the team:

Goodnotes is building a stealth AI product. You will be working in a small independent team, collaborating closely with engineers and designers. This team will report directly to our CEO & Founder, Steven.

About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive zero-to-one product development for this stealth AI product.

You will work directly with a small cross-functional team to prototype, test, and ship an MVP into production, then scale it into a delightful product that people love.

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Build a new product from zero-to-one, from early prototypes through to a production launch

  • Own the end-to-end product experience for an AI-powered content creation tool, with a high bar for craft and usability

  • Design and ship AI workflows that feel natural and delightful, not gimmicky

  • Partner deeply with Design and Engineering to iterate quickly and make high-quality tradeoffs

  • Drive execution with a small team, bringing clarity to priorities, scope, and timelines

  • Build for PLG, thinking through onboarding, activation, retention loops, and growth experiments

  • Ship cross-platform experiences (exact platform mix to be finalized), focusing on great core workflows

  • Prototype, test, and learn fast, using user feedback to refine the product direction

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, including strong execution in fast-moving environments

  • 2+ years of experience shipping user-facing AI features/products, with a practical understanding of AI capabilities and constraints

  • Strong product sense and a track record of building delightful consumer experiences (examples like Instagram, TikTok, CapCut-level craft are a plus)

  • A design-forward mindset (design background or exceptional UX intuition). We may include a UX sense interview in the process.

  • Comfort operating as a highly hands-on PM (close to the team, details, and delivery), including 1-to-many scaling experience

  • Ability to work effectively with engineers on technical tradeoffs and delivery, including elements of technical program management

  • Experience building or contributing to PLG products and running iterative experiments

  • Comfort with ambiguity and rapid iteration in an early-stage product environment

Interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes

  • A 30 minute meet & greet call with Steven, our CEO & Founder

  • A hands on session with Steven to assess your product management experience

  • A meet-the-team call with 2 or 3 Goodpeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes

What’s in it for you:

  • Meaningful equity in a profitable tech-startup

  • Budget for things like noise cancelling headphones, setting up your home office, personal development, professional training, and health & wellness

  • Sponsored visits to our Hong Kong or London office every 2 years

  • Company wide annual offsite

  • Flexible working hours and location

  • Medical insurance for you and your dependents
