Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Product Owner for a full time and direct hire role for one of our amazing and fast-growing health insurance partners.


We are looking for a technical Senior Product Owner to own the Finance vertical of the business. Youll help build strong partnerships, grow the client base, and deliver exceptional service. They are a fast-moving company that is constantly innovating everything from automation to new products to help shape the future of healthcare. This is a high-impact role for someone who understands health insurance operations and knows how to bring structure and clarity to complex product initiatives. We need someone who loves solving problems end-to-end, and is comfortable navigating technical, operational, and commercial discussions. Someone who can translate complex concepts into easily digestible themes and stories.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as a subject matter expert in the end-to-end finance workflow by providing guidance to internal teams and external partners.
  • Work with finance to translate a defined product vision into a clear and actionable roadmap.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and drive agile development cycles.
  • Oversee the development of financial workflows by driving speed and success.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross functional teams to define strategies, solidify alignment, and drive outcomes.
  • Work with Finance to develop and track KPIs to measure the success and impact of solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams to communicate product value and execute strategies.
  • Understand and translate technical concepts into business value.
  • Drive cross-functional teams, lead without direct authority, and foster a product culture.
  • Help shape product strategy and portfolio management to align with long-term business goals.


Requirements:

  • Must have industry experience working in Healthcare insurance and partnering with Finance.
  • Proven experience successfully launching and managing healthtech and fintech products.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations like HIPAA and insurance workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services like banking, asset management, and data.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies, backlog management, user story creation, and leading sprint planning and reviews.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to align and manage expectations with diverse stakeholders like executives, technical teams, and customers.
  • Proficient in AI-driven tools and solutions to improve processes, optimize performance, and support continuous innovation.
  • Able to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and agile environment.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to define requirements, analyze data, resolve complex issues, translate complex needs across technical and business teams, and drive confident decisions.
  • Experience with tools like Jira, Figma, PostHogTableau, and AI tools.
  • Strong customer focus with deep empathy and experience working with internal and external customers while being able to navigate disagreements and escalate issues effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, computer science, or a related field
