Job Description

Technical Project Leader - Contract

DISHER is seeking a Technical Project Leader for a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications.
They have over thirty manufacturing and assembly plants worldwide servicing over 10,000 customers in more than 100
countries. In this role you will report to the Senior Manager Validation and Compliance Group as a Lead Compliance Engineer, who will be responsible for supporting Li-Ion NPI activities.

What you will get to do:

    • Create validation plans to ensure all regulatory, certification, customer and internal
    • requirements are met for a product
    • Work with UL/Intertek/CSA to achieve Listings and Recognitions of Products
    • Work with internal engineering teams to create required documentation for certification
    • Work with test houses to schedule testing
    • Support running changes of product lines and deviations including feedback on potential
    • impacts to certification

What will make you successful:

    • B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
    • 7+ years of experience working with an NRTL
    • Experience in leading and managing a cross-functional team in product development
    • 3+ Years of Lithium Battery Testing and/or Certification
    • Experience leading certification with UL/Intertek/CSA
    • Experience with stationary battery systems
