Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and culturally tuned-in Manager of Brand Strategy to help shape the future of the NBA 2K brand. In this role, you'll help the development and activation of brand strategy across key campaigns and cultural moments, building a compelling brand presence while supporting cross-functional teams with insight, structure, and clarity.

This is a hands-on role that blends strategic thinking with operational execution. You’ll manage multiple projects, guide creative development, and partner across teams to ensure we’re always delivering brand work that’s sharp, culturally relevant, and on point. Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills are a must.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Stewardship

  • Partner with the Brand leadership to co-develop the annual brand strategy, including alignment with athlete branding.
  • Support the evolution and maintenance of brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity standards.

Campaign Leadership

  • Support strategy and creative development for brand-led campaign beats
  • Collaborate closely with creative, production, and media teams to bring campaigns to life. Manage production cycles in partnership with creative team. 

Cross-Functional Enablement

  • Act as a brand consultant across go-to-market efforts overseeing adherence to toolkit and brand standard while ensuring brand consistency and impact.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal teams to champion brand alignment.

Brand Operations

  • Organize and manage brand tools, files, and assets to ensure accessibility and strategic consistency.
  • Drive improvements in brand processes and documentation for long-term scale.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in brand marketing, brand strategy, or a related field
  • Strong track record of developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Excellent storytelling, creative thinking, and strategic planning skills
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to present ideas confidently and collaborate across teams
  • Experience managing creative workflows and working with agencies or production partners
  • Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint (or Keynote) and Excel, able to build clear, compelling presentations backed by data
  • Deep curiosity and cultural awareness, especially at the intersection of sports, gaming, and storytelling
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and stays focused under pressure to deliver high-quality work
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,200 - $148,320 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
