As an Infrastructure Cloud Architect, you will lead the design and implementation of modern cloud-native infrastructure to support the migration of a legacy Oracle ATG eCommerce platform to a new architecture built with Spring Boot microservices and Next.js micro frontends on Microsoft Azure. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure high-quality deliverables that align with client expectations and optimal cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and implementation of modern cloud-native infrastructure.
Define and document the target infrastructure architecture supporting microservices and modern web frontends.
Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure, including networking, compute, storage, security, and observability.
Develop and maintain infrastructure blueprints and reusable patterns.
Spearhead Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementations using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Establish CI/CD infrastructure strategies using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must-have Skills:
Azure services experience: AKS, VNets, Key Vault, Storage, Functions.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Good understanding of Spring Boot microservice infrastructure patterns.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Solid grasp of cloud security best practices, including Zero Trust principles.
Experience modernizing monolithic legacy systems like Oracle ATG.
English level: Advanced.
Nice-to-have Skills:
Experience in eCommerce platform modernization.
Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd).
Exposure to API Gateway patterns.
Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana).
Azure Certification (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
