Engineering Manager, Growth & Experimentation
Drive a culture of rapid experimentation, A/B testing, and data-driven product decisions that directly impact growth metrics. Ship features fast, measure everything, and iterate based on what customers actually do, not just what they say.
What We're Looking For, Must-Haves
4+ years managing engineering teams (actual people management, not just tech lead experience)
Deep experimentation expertise: Feature flags, A/B testing frameworks, statistical significance, experiment velocity
Growth engineering mindset: You've built and scaled products using data-driven iteration
Full-stack technical depth: 8+ years shipping production code, strong backend fundamentals
Proven ability to build experimentation culture in fast-moving, fail-fast environments
We're Especially Excited If You Have
Experience with modern AI-driven development tools (Cursor, Copilot, v0, etc.) to 10x team velocityTrack record using Figma + AI prototyping to go from concept to production in days, not weeksBackground at high-velocity B2B SaaS product companies Hands-on experience with React and PythonExpertise in experimentation platforms (LaunchDarkly, Statsig, Optimizely, Split, or similar)
The Role
You'll lead the Experience team, the engineers who build what customers see, use, and pay for. This isn't about perfect architecture or over-engineered solutions. It's about shipping fast, learning faster, and using data to drive every decision.
Day-to-Day
Build and run experiments that move key metrics
Ship incrementally with multi-quarter roadmaps focused on velocity and customer impact
Hire, mentor, and level up engineers who thrive in ambiguity
Partner with Product, Design, and Customer Success to turn insights into action
Champion engineering excellence while maintaining startup speed
Set the technical bar for the team through code reviews, architecture decisions, and operational rigor
What Success Looks Like
Your team ships experiments weekly, not monthly
Product decisions are driven by data, not opinions
Engineers on your team grow faster than they would anywhere else
Revenue metrics move because of features your team built
Why Quandri?
Insurance agencies are drowning in manual work. We're automating the $100B+ personal lines renewal process with AI, and customers love it, 3x ARR growth last year, 100+ agencies across North America.
The Product Challenge
High-velocity, high-volume insurance operations require a platform that's both intelligent and fast. You'll build the product layer that turns raw insurance data into actionable recommendations that advisors actually use.

We're backed by top-tier US and Canadian investors. Named LinkedIn's Top Canadian Startup 2024 & 2025, Deloitte Fast 50, CB Insights Insurtech 50.
¾ of the team is in Vancouver, Olympic Village, we are in-office 3days/week. If you're the right fit but based elsewhere in Canada, we'll make it work. Expectation: Travel to Vancouver at least once per quarter for team planning, roadmap sessions, and team building required.
The Momentum
We're scaling fast. The engineering org is growing. You'll shape not just your team, but how we build products across Quandri.

Our guiding principles:
Customers at the core.We put the customer at the centre of all we do. At a basic level, we believe business success comes down to talking to customers and building something they want. We don’t listen to customers and just take what they say blindly, but we think critically about it and build what they need. Customers are the core of everything we do, and our business exists to serve them. We prioritize their needs over all else within the company.
Move with urgency. Organizations tend to slow down as they become larger. Small startups have the advantage of speed. We require urgency in all things - from sending an email to code changes - this enables us to stay agile and maintain our startup edge.
Be curious. We understand the world by being curious and asking why. We aren’t satisfied with surface level understanding, and seek a deeper understanding of why things are the way they are. Don’t take someone’s word for it or the answer “because that’s how we do it.” Understand why and dig deep.
Excellence in execution. We know that what separates good from great is a high level of execution. We commit ourselves to excellence in everything that we do, from delivering an amazing product to writing a great email.
Act like an owner. We’re all owners of the business and act like it. We follow through on commitments, own our results and think long-term.
Fight for simplicity. Systems evolve to become more complex over time. We know there is sophistication in simplicity; as such, we intentionally fight for streamlined solutions and are committed to the uncomplicated.
Diversity and Inclusion
Quandri is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. As an equal opportunity employer, Quandri adheres to Canadian labour laws and does not engage in discrimination based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or any other status protected under Canadian law.
Don’t let imposter syndrome stop you from applying. Great people sometimes don’t have the “right” experience. If you think that you’ll be amazing at this role then we encourage you to apply.
