Job Description

Traackr is a global SaaS technology company providing a data-driven influencer marketing platform that marketers use to optimize investments, streamline campaigns, and scale programs. Our customers range from some of the world’s largest companies in the beauty and personal care space to digitally native indie brands, which have all made influencer management and engagement a critical practice of their marketing and advertising programs. At Traackr, we’re lucky to have a team of kind, driven, and respectful humans from around the world. We operate on a culture of mutual respect, with core value pillars including:

Our team also loves having fun together, with many employee-led initiatives like the Traackr Summer Olympics annual workout challenge!

We are at a pivotal moment as we evolve from a system of record into an AI-powered decision-engine that helps brands optimize creator spend, audience reach, and conversion. As an Engineering Manager, you will play a critical role in leading teams through this transformation.
You will be accountable for predictable delivery, high engineering quality, and reliable operations, while coaching engineers to grow and thrive in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities

    • Collaborate cross-functionally
    • Partner closely with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Finance to align priorities and deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.
    • Build trust through clear communication, strong execution, and follow-through on commitments.

    • Lead delivery and execution
    • Translate platform and business needs into clear roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics.
    • Own outcomes end-to-end: planning, prioritization, delivery, and operational excellence.
    • Establish and continuously improve team mechanisms across discovery, planning, delivery, and retrospectives.
    • Champion an experimentation-driven mindset by defining hypotheses, success metrics, guardrails, and rollout strategies.
    • Ensure results are visible and actionable through clear written communication (readouts, decision docs, postmortems).
    • Inspire, coach, and develop engineers
    • Connect day-to-day work to purpose by clearly articulating the “why” behind initiatives.
    • Build an inclusive, high-performing team culture grounded in trust, ownership, and continuous improvement.
    • Coach engineers through regular 1:1s, feedback, career development planning, and performance conversations.
    • Identify and develop future technical leaders in partnership with Staff and Principal engineers.
    • Raise the engineering bar
    • Establish strong engineering fundamentals across code review, testing strategies, system design, and documentation
    • Ensure systems are designed and operated for reliability, scalability, and resilience; lead incident readiness and post-incident learning.
    • Partner with senior technical leaders on architecture and technical strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and long-term maintainability.
    • Enable responsible use of GenAI developer tools (coding assistance, debugging, design reviews) while upholding standards for security, privacy, and correctness.

Requirements

    • 5+ years of people management experience with demonstrated ownership of team delivery, growth, and performance.
    • 10+ years of experience building and operating distributed, event-driven systems in production.
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Proven ability to run effective delivery processes and improve predictability and quality over time.
    • Strong fundamentals in API-first system design and platform architecture.
    • Experience applying data and/or AI capabilities in production environments (e.g., analytics, automation, recommendations, or decision support).
    • Production experience with Java, Node.js, Vue, or comparable technologies.
    • Experience operating systems in the cloud (AWS or equivalent), including configuration, reliability, and observability.
    • Solid understanding of software quality practices, testing strategies, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have
