As a Technical Product Manager you will be a key member of the team that designs technical, service and data solutions to support Aledade’s various lines of business by managing, maintaining and creating data ingestion pipelines that are foundational for Aledade’s Medicare Share Savings ACOs. The Technical Product Manager works alongside business owners, data analysts, designers and engineers to define project goals, solution scope, implementation approach, and rollout plans.  They are the interface between strategic business owners and development and ensure that Aledade creates a high-quality product with the ability to scale. 

Primary Duties:

    • Partner with business owners to cultivate a shared vision for the problem space, constraints, priorities and ideal end state, and be able to articulate and advocate for this perspective. 
    • Ongoing optimization of data pipelines and infrastructure capabilities including monitoring of: key metrics, infrastructure performance, data quality and data completeness.
    • Work with internal teams and CMS to develop a deep understanding of ACO program requirements, perform thoughtful solution design, use data to test hypotheses, and support teams throughout execution.
    • Write detailed user stories  for new features, capturing detailed descriptions of business rationale, requirements, and success criteria that are defined by measurable outcomes.
    • Develop short- and long-term roadmaps that deliver maximum value with minimum risk and assume ongoing iteration.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of product management experience in technology, technology-enabled services industry, or a SaaS product
    • Experience using data and primary research to inform solution design and build internal business understanding.
    • Experience with and understanding of the software development lifecycle and software development methodologies.  Preferably experience with Agile / Scrum teams.
    • Product development experience in the context of the development of a healthcare technology product.

    • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
    • Product Experience: Product manager for an ingestion, infrastructure, AI, and/or analytics team(s) or equivalent ownership and role expectations met under a different job title i.e. lead data scientist, lead engineer, technical lead or BI/analytics program manager or project manager 
    • Domain Expertise:
    • Knowledge of Alternative Payment Models: Familiarity with MSSP, REACH, PC Flex ACOs, Pioneer ACOs, commercial insurance shared savings programs, and PCMH.
    • Healthcare Data Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare administrative and clinical data sets, including demographic, financial, and clinical data. Preferred experience in working directly with:
    • Claims (BCDA API, CCLF, CRF)
    • Attribution/eligibility files (ALR, PAR, BAR)
    • Financial/performance reports (EXPU, BEUR, MPR, benchmark files)
    • Clinical Quality Measurements and data sets
    • Technical Skills
    • SQL Proficiency: Strong SQL skills with a preference for experience in PostgreSQL.
    • Data Management: Solid understanding of databases, data ingestion processes, data governance and modeling.
    • Healthcare IT Systems: Familiarity with standards such as HL7 and FHIR.
    • General Clinical and Workflow Experience
    • Clinical Workflow Knowledge: Basic understanding of healthcare administrative or clinical workflows for inpatient, ambulatory, or ancillary services.
    • Experience with Health Products: Experience working with EHR, practice management, revenue cycle, or population health products.
