About The Role

• API and microservices development — build and evolve high-performance APIs and microservices in Go, designed for reliability, low latency, and scale.
• End-to-end ownership — take full ownership of features and services, from discovery and design to production rollout and monitoring.
• Cross-functional collaboration — work closely with product and business teams to translate real payment problems into elegant technical solutions.
• Integration frameworks — strengthen and expand integration frameworks that scale across countries, providers, and complex payment rails.
• Security and compliance — ensure excellence in security, privacy, and data protection by applying OWASP principles and engineering best practices.
• Engineering culture — contribute to a culture of agile delivery, continuous improvement, and engineering craftsmanship alongside a senior team.

Skills You Need

Minimum Qualifications

• Golang — proficiency building backend services and APIs.
• Java — proficiency as a secondary backend language.
• Unit testing — demonstrated knowledge writing and maintaining test coverage.
• Git — demonstrated knowledge of version control workflows.
• SQL and PostgreSQL — solid knowledge of relational databases and query design.
• Security — working knowledge of OWASP principles and secure engineering practices.
• Communication — ability to explain complex technical problems to both technical and business audiences.
• Autonomy — ability to execute tasks independently in a constantly changing roadmap.
• English fluency — verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications

• Payment industry — experience working in payments or fintech environments.
• Payment Service Providers — experience integrating PSPs and payment rails.
• Frontend — knowledge of frontend languages and frameworks.
