Guidewire Software Developer

Accountabilities:

Perform analysis, advanced level design, development, configuration, and testing for Guidewire platform solutions

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Relevant certifications (e.g., Guidewire Certified Associate, Guidewire Certified Specialist, or Lead EnterpriseEngage Developer) are a plus.

5+ years of experience in Information Technology

3+ years development experience in at least one Guidewire InsuranceSuite application v10: PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter

Demonstrated experience with:

o Gosu language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools and accelerators, batch process, and predefined plugins

o Java

o SQL

o Agile software development (using Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, etc.)

Experience with integrations, including knowledge of REST APIs, messaging frameworks, and third-party system integrations

Expertise in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

Prior experience in Property & Casualty Insurance, including multi-product insurance platforms across personal and commercial lines, is strongly preferred.
