On behalf of  Hermetic AI, GT is looking for a strong Python Engineer.

Note:

• Required at least partial overlap with US working hours (Texas time zone, until approximately 8 PM UA time)

About the Project

We are looking for a strong Python Engineer to join a fast-growing US-based AI startup building automation and customer engagement products powered by AI.

The company develops AI-driven workflow and communication solutions used by hospitality and service businesses across the United States.

You’ll work closely with a small international engineering team on backend systems, integrations, automation flows, and infrastructure-related tasks in a fast-moving product environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services and automation workflows using Python

• Build integrations with third-party systems and APIs

• Work with infrastructure-as-code and cloud environments

• Improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability of internal systems

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product stakeholders, and AI-focused team members

• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and production support when needed

• Contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Python

• Strong experience building backend systems and APIs

• Experience working with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment environments

• Experience working with integrations and external APIs

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment

• Fluent English

Nice-to-have:

• Exposure to AI/automation products

• Experience working with US-based teams/startups
