Senior Back-End Software Engineer
Your Role as a Back-End Developer:
- Ownership and accountability of product features from technical design to delivery, identifying possible risks in collaboration with stakeholders (product owner, QA…)
- Identify system’s tech debt and propose specific strategies to solve them
- Support the team in following and applying DoD of the developments in order to achieve defined milestones
- Producing testable, performant and technically efficient code according to our internal strategy (unit and integration testing, performance metrics)
- Share technical specifications and technical solution designs in an understandable way
- Assess improvements and alternative solutions through research and investigation of new technologies
What you’ll need:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing diverse enterprise applications with an object-oriented language
- Proven knowledge with .NET Framework Programming and ASP.NET solutions (no minimum experience needed)
- Experience with MVC, Web API frameworks (ASP.NET or others) and RESTful API
- Experience with an ORM framework (Nhibernate/Hibernate, EF…)
- Experience with relational database querying and modeling
- Deep knowledge of SOLID principles and how to apply them
- Hands on experience with unit, integration, API and performance testing
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills (and love to interact with people from many different cultures and disciplines)
- Focus in applying design patterns, best practices and delivering testable and highly maintainable code on a daily basis
- Highly interested in software crafting methodologies (Calisthenics, TDD, BDD…)
What we’ll also value:
- Experience with SharePoint and Office 365 solutions
- DevOps skills
- Knowledge about OAuth and OpenId
- Experience with GraphQL
- Knowledge about NOSQL databases (document-oriented or key-value)
- Knowledge about Microservices and/or Modular monolithic architecture
- Knowledge about architectures like DDD, Onion, Hexagonal, Ports & Adapters and patterns like CQRS
- Experience with building cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of Azure platform functioning and capabilities.
- Knowledge about event buses (Kafka, RabbitMQ…)
- Experience with dockerized applications
