Server Developer (World of Tanks)

Job Overview Wargaming is inviting talented Server developers who are ready to learn a lot, take responsibility for the result of their work and meet the expectations of our players together with us. In our team you will have to solve interesting tasks related to the development of World of Tanks on the whole technological stack. Reports to Solution Architect What will you do? Develop high performance (in terms of memory and execution time) in-game components Improve and develop the existing technology stack Work with dozens of additional services and applications that make up the large-scale infrastructure of our project (payment systems, authorization systems, analytical data warehouses, etc.) Cover the functionality with tests Participate in the creation of new game modes and logic on the game server What are we looking for? Experience in commercial software development Strong knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms Development experience in C++ and Python Knowledge of design patterns Experience in developing asynchronous/multithreaded applications Knowledge of CPU and memory principles (RAM, ROM, cache, virtual memory, swap file, etc.) Familiarity with databases, message brokers Knowledge of the basics of computer networks What additional skills will help you stand out? Experience in web applications development (frontend, backend) Experience of working with distributed systems Passion for computer games Gamedev experience Work mode Hybrid (3 days of work from the office) The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 4000-6700 monthly gross.
