Job Description

ALTEN Mexico, is a leading engineering company that specializes in providing innovative solutions for engineering, technology, and product development projects. We work directly with different industries including Automotive, Energy, Aeronautics, Banking & Insurance, Telecom & Multimedia, and Rail; offering services ranging from project design development to test/validation, programming, imlementation, and manufacturing.

ALTEN Mexico as a subsidiary of the ALTEN Group. Currently working with international clients, and we are looking for an IT Business Analyst who will be responsible for analyzing, implementing, and supporting technology solutions related to system integrations, eCommerce platforms, Order Management Systems, and logistics processes. This role requires a technical–functional professional with solid experience in integrations, requirements analysis, and operational support within logistics environments. The analyst will collaborate closely with business, operations, WMS teams, and external partners to ensure seamless system communication and operational continuity.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements for internal and external system integrations.
  • Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into integration specifications and functional designs.
  • Own the entire lifecycle of system integrations: analysis, mapping, transformation logic, testing, validation, deployment, and support.
  • Troubleshoot end‑to‑end integration flows involving APIs, XML/JSON messaging, middleware, eCommerce platforms, OMS, WMS, or ERP systems.
  • Work independently to diagnose complex issues without relying exclusively on existing documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to define priorities, implement solutions, and ensure accuracy in data flows and system behavior.
  • Document integration designs, process flows, and interface behaviors clearly and concisely.
  • Support and enhance integrations for eCommerce webstores, marketplaces, and back‑end operational systems.
  • Ensure integrations comply with security, performance, and data quality standards.
  • Participate in regional or global IT initiatives focused on connectivity, automation, and operational systems.
  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in roles involving system integrations, API connectivity, data mapping, or application interoperability.
  • Proven expertise with:
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • XML and JSON structures
    • API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger)
    • Troubleshooting integration failures across multiple systems
  • Experience supporting or integrating business‑critical applications (OMS, ERP, CRM, WMS, or similar).
  • Experience in roles that require independent problem‑solving, not limited to predefined procedures or Service Desk-style tasks.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency for international collaboration.

Desirable (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, warehousing, or transportation systems.
  • Familiarity with:
    • Supply Chain operations
    • Manhattan Active or other WMS platforms
  • Experience with middleware or integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Tibco, WSO2, Azure Integration Services).
  • SQL querying for analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with eCommerce (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, marketplaces, etc.).
