Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Business Systems Analyst Senior Manager to lead initiatives that enhance our insurance program technology platforms and operational workflows. This role will own program development requirements, oversee configuration of rate/quote/bind/issuance systems, and strengthen support processes for policy transactions and M&A integrations. 

As a Senior Manager, you will manage projects end-to-end, collaborate across multiple business units at ISC, and lead a team of onshore and offshore resources. The position combines business analysis, project management, and leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in insurance operations and technology environments. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead ownership of new insurance program concepts from requirements gathering through implementation and cross-functional integration.
  • Provide project management oversight for initiatives involving multiple business units.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define system and workflow requirements and deliver efficient, compliant solutions.
  • Design, document, and maintain configurable information systems ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage upgrades, and optimize performance.
  • Conduct audits and implement security measures for information systems.
  • Partner with Program Managers and underwriters to maintain and evolve rate, quote, bind, and policy issuance systems.
  • Facilitate integration of acquired programs into ISC platforms.
  • Deliver project tracking and business updates to leadership.
  • Lead and manage onshore and offshore support resources, ensuring effective execution of pre- and post-bind activities, including: 
    • Endorsement processing
    • Policy/invoice validation
    • Audit file completeness
    • Premium Finance/AP collaboration
    • Bordereau automation
    • Inspection oversight
    • Surplus lines filing coordination
  • Build and manage training programs for business analysts and self-serve features for the broader business.
  • Work closely with the ISC technology team to implement programs and features on ISC’s proprietary systems as well as third-party vendor integrations. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in commercial lines underwriting or operations.
  • 8+ years of business systems analysis and projects experience.
  • 3+ years proven experience managing teams or support resources (onshore/offshore), including mentoring and performance oversight.
  • Proficiency in configuring and updating insurance policy administration systems (MGA Systems experience preferred).
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to drive projects independently.
  • Expertise in information systems design, implementation, and troubleshooting within the insurance industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

The starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

National Pay Range

$137,202 - $171,503 USD
