Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Analyst to join our client’s bordereaux team. The role is instrumental in analyzing and managing bordereaux reports as the ideal candidate will be responsible for the review, analysis of bordereaux data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist with compiling data for assessments, data calls and general analytics for our admitted company
- Assisting and processing of incoming bordereaux information
- Responsible for the management of the bordereaux process, validation, reconciliation and exception handling.
- Manage and respond to all bordereaux related queries and exception reporting
- Provide support to the Bordereaux Manager as required in matters relating to bordereaux processing and data quality.
- You may act as a key contact to resolve issues that prevent the processing of Bordereaux within agreed timelines.
- Identifying anomalies within the bordereaux and amending where necessary.
- Consistently demonstrating your ability to communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels.
- You will ensure process and training documentation in relation to Bordereaux Management Procedures is kept up to date.
- You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities where required.
Qualifications
- Required skills - 1-3+ years of finance or data analytics related experience, preferred to have insurance knowledge or background
- Intermediate level SQL and Excel experience, adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting tools & databases (SQL Server & PowerBI)
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent critical thinking skills to flag data issues
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team
