Job Description

The Tech System


Clean, validate, and structure healthcare datasets from electronic health records (EHR), claims, and operational systems

Perform descriptive data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies under the guidance of senior analysts

Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau

Write and execute basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data

Contribute to documentation of data sources, reporting processes, and analytical methodologies

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand data needs and support project goals

Adhere strictly to data security, privacy, and compliance standards, including HIPAA regulations

Required

Bachelors degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field earned within the last 24 months

Foundational understanding of data analysis concepts and a strong interest in the healthcare domain

Academic, internship, or project experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred

Familiarity with healthcare data standards, terminologies (e.g., ICD-10, CPT), and HIPAA compliance

Exposure to statistical programming languages such as Python or R

A portfolio or examples of academic projects demonstrating data analysis skills
