Job Description

cFocus Software seeks a Data Analyst to join our program supporting the Executive Office of the President (EOP). This position is remote. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience performing data analysis in a regulated or enterprise IT environment.
  • Experience analyzing structured and semi-structured datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience producing written analytical reports for technical and executive audiences.
  • Familiarity with data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance concepts.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
Duties:
  • Provide detailed reports showing similarities in data points (e.g., high rate of failure for emails sent from given address; inability to perform comparisons on specific file types; etc.).
  • Identification of source of error (e.g., issue related to defects in verification code; issues related to deficiencies in OBS ingestion code; etc.).
  • Interprets data sets to provide insights that influence strategic decisions.
  • Collect and process data, perform statistical analyses, and report findings in clear, comprehensible formats.
  • Tasks include defining data requirements, data cleansing, creating data models, and using data visualization tools.
