DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on databases to join our manufacturing information systems team. This role will play a key role in crafting our data analysis solutions and optimizing our infrastructure. If you have extensive experience with DevOps technologies, databases, and cloud platforms, and possess a proactive problem-solving approach, we want to hear from you! What You'll Be Doing:Design, implement, and maintain database-centric microservice architectures using Kubernetes on cloud platforms and Linux systems on-premisesDevelop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enhance our software delivery processCreate and maintain Docker containers for our applications and servicesImplement and manage database solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliabilityAutomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using cloud technologiesCollaborate with development teams to improve application performance and database interactionsImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for our database and infrastructure componentsPerform root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive measuresWhat we need to see:Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively, contributing to a positive team cultureBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, experienced with database technologiesVast experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker and KubernetesStrong Linux administration skills, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShellExpertise in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesAdvanced knowledge of Git and Git workflowsProven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)In-depth understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or equivalent experienceExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)Ways to stand out from the crowd:Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization techniquesKnowledge of data replication and backup strategiesExperience with database migration and version control toolsExperience developing engineering applications for large corporationsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailWidely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers, NVIDIA offers highly competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
