Babel Street is seeking a skilled Staff Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and scale their cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will blend expertise from Platform Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Networking to solve complex problems across multiple cloud environments.

What you will do:
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure in GCP and AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources in a repeatable, scalable manner
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring platforms (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, CloudWatch, Prometheus) to ensure system health, performance, and reliability
- Experience planning and executing cloud-to-cloud workload migrations, including assessment, re-architecture, and cutover strategies across major cloud platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
