About the Position:
We are seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team over the summer. This role will provide hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and website maintenance. The intern will work closely with our Digital Marketing Director and Senior Director of Marketing, gaining valuable insights and practical skills in digital marketing.

The internship will run for up to 10 weeks, up to 40 hours a week, commencing on or around June 8th, and concluding by August 14th.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain practical experience in Digital Marketing and Brand development. If you are interested in marketing, ready to learn and eager to contribute to a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you!

What you do daily:

    • Schedule social media posts
    • Assist with content creation and review, including static and video content (FAQs, research)
    • Provide light assistance with writing social media content
    • Make minor updates to website pages (images, text, links, blog, resources, PDFs)
    • Post and add blogs and videos
    • Post new gated collateral, including product sheets, spec sheets to the website
    • Assist with Google Business Profile verification
    • Assist with Brand photography project to catalogue and create mood boards for brand refresh of the Cologix website, potential imagery from Shutterstock and iStock
    • Assist in program development for Culture ERG – development of graphics and content for various events and actives
    • Curate and develop a new catalogue system for the 2025 image database
    • Work with Marketing Manager, Operations on various projects, including signage projects, updating collaterals, cataloguing assets, budget management and asset audit
    • Assist Marketing Manager, Operations on event planning for Canadian Connect events, vendor sourcing, administration and billing
    • Assist Director of Events on event logistics and coordination
    • Assist Sr. Content Manager and Strategist to plan and create customer newsletter for distribution

What makes you a good fit: (Qualifications)

    • Successful candidates must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program from an accredited college / university as a rising junior / senior.
    • Proactive and self-motivated, ability to work remotely
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Creativity and an eye for design
    • Intermediate understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
    • Beginner understanding of or keen interest in learning website maintenance and content management
    • Comfortable using or learning AI tools to assist with marketing activities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Effective communication and writing skills
    • Enthusiasm for learning and taking on new challenges
