React / React Native Developer (Philippines)

About the Role  

We are a growing startup building modern, user‑centric web and mobile applications. We’re looking for a React / React Native Developer who enjoys building products from the ground up, cares about clean and maintainable code, and thrives in a fast‑moving environment. Experience working with or integrating AI‑powered solutions into web or mobile applications is a strong plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities 

• Design, build, and maintain web applications using React 

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native 

• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers 

• Translate product requirements and designs into high‑quality, scalable features 

• Integrate APIs and backend services into frontend and mobile apps 

• Ensure performance, reliability, and quality across devices and platforms 

• Write clean, reusable, and well‑documented code 

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decisions 

• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and edge cases 

• Continuously improve the codebase and development workflows 

 

 

Requirements 

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) 

• Hands‑on experience with React.js 

• Experience developing mobile applications using React Native 

• Familiarity with TypeScript 

• Experience working with REST APIs and/or GraphQL 

• Solid understanding of component‑based architecture and state management 

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows 

• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail 

• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving startup environment 

 

Nice to Have 

• Experience building or integrating AI‑driven features in web or mobile apps 
  (e.g. chat interfaces, AI search, recommendations, content generation) 

• Experience using AI or ML APIs such as OpenAI, Azure AI, or similar platforms 

• Backend experience with Node.js, Firebase, Supabase, or similar 

• Experience with testing frameworks and automated testing 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes 

• Prior experience working at a startup or on early‑stage products
