Job Description
We want you to #JOINTHEREBELLION! For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.We are seeking a talented Junior Programmer to join a small but passionate group of experienced developers focused on bringing Rebellion titles to Apple platforms. As a Junior Programmer, you will work closely with senior engineers to adapt, optimise, and integrate existing game codebases targeting Apple hardware and ecosystems.This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in C++ and an interest in low-level systems, performance optimisation, and cross-platform development.
Good C/C++ programming skills, with solid knowledge of object-oriented development Basic familiarity with Objective-C or willingness to learn quicklyGood communication and team working abilitiesStrong debugging and problem solving capabilitiesAn ability to produce and maintain clean, efficient, stable and well commented codeA logical and technical mind with the ability to break down problems and create effective solutionsKnowledge of version control systems (e.g. Perforce)
