Salary: $1,200 - 1,700 / month

We are seeking a reliable, long-term Video Editor to join a growing creative team focused on high-level storytelling. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled but also brings strong creative instincts and original flair to every project.

Role & Responsibilities

The Video Editor will be responsible for editing internal personal and company content for branded social channels, as well as delivering high-quality client projects.

Client work will primarily include:

  • Testimonials
  • Short-form marketing and video campaigns
  • Brand videos

High-level commercial and documentary-style brand story editing will initially remain under senior oversight. As the editor demonstrates strong storytelling ability and consistent quality, responsibilities may expand to include more advanced projects.

Style & Skill Requirements

Storytelling First
A strong understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and audience engagement is essential. The editor must know how to shape content into compelling stories.

Aesthetic & Cultural Awareness

  • Strong grasp of Western/US culture
  • Understanding of modern visual aesthetics
  • Familiarity with tone, humor, and sarcasm
  • Ability to create edits that feel current, polished, and culturally relevant

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in video editing software
  • Basic motion graphics
  • High-quality color grading
  • Professional audio mixing and cleanup

Style References
The ideal candidate should be capable of emulating both short-form and long-form editing styles similar to content created by Dan Martell, Alex Hormozi, and Devon Levesque—while still incorporating their own creative voice.

Workload & Capacity

Editing volume fluctuates monthly depending on client demand. Internal content is consistently produced.

At full capacity, the expected output includes:

  • 5 short-form videos per week
  • 1 long-form video per week
  • Ongoing client deliverables

Communication Expectations

This is intended to be a long-term collaboration, and strong communication is essential.

The ideal editor will:

  • Proactively ask clarifying questions when needed
  • Avoid disappearing or missing deadlines. Don't disappear or fail to ask clarifying questions if you are stuck.
  • Exercise independent problem-solving skills. Don't ask too many questions about things you can problem-solve yourself.
  • Deliver final assets efficiently without excessive back-and-forth.

The goal is to confidently hand off raw content with clear direction and receive polished, ready-to-publish assets in a timely manner.

Interested candidates should submit relevant portfolio samples, specifically projects that closely match the styles referenced above.
