Schedule: CST (with some flexibility for other time zones; overlap during CST hours required)

An innovative, mission-driven company specializing in teaching resources and multimedia services for church leaders worldwide is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join its team.

The Video Editor will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, high-quality videos that align with the company's brand and effectively communicate its message. Projects may include promotional content, short-form social media videos, educational materials, interviews, and inspirational or community-focused content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and produce compelling video content for digital and social media platforms.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in editing short-form video content (approximately 30 seconds in length) designed for social media platforms.
  • Organize and assemble raw footage into finished products that meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Incorporate music, graphics, transitions, subtitles, and visual effects as needed.
  • Perform color correction, audio enhancement, and overall video optimization.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and creative direction.
  • Ensure all videos maintain a consistent style and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Maintain organized project files and video assets.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in video editing and content creation.
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or comparable video editing software.
  • Familiarity with Adobe After Effects or motion graphics tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition.
  • Ability to receive feedback and implement revisions effectively.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
