Job Description

The primary focus of our Sales team is to create long-term relationships with our customers. We follow through on commitments, conduct business with integrity and do whatever it takes to ensure a lasting partnership.  We view Sales as a signpost to show customers where the solution lives. Our sales goal is to introduce customers to all the folks of Clear Capital who are poised to solve problems, create efficiencies, and deliver the highest quality product available. 

We seek to build lasting relationships in the housing finance industry which we believe creates value. It is the responsibility of our Sales team to provide value to the client by understanding their business, helping them find the right solution,  negotiating a win-win agreement and facilitating a smooth introduction to the Customer Success team. We treat others well even if there is no immediate opportunity. We are regarded in the industry as a group of nice folks dedicated to helping in whatever manner possible. 

We are seeking a highly-qualified professional to advance our leadership position in Real Estate Analytics solutions,  build a product focused sales approach and eventual team.. The Business Development Director, RE Analytics will have proven success working in a relationship-based work environment and is willing to focus on continually building customer trust and confidence in our products and customer delivery teams. This successful individual will be highly entrepreneurial and use a consultative approach as they introduce customers to our unique portfolio of data and analytics solutions. The Business Development Director will pursue new opportunities with Proptech and Fintech leaders, Private Equity and Hedge Fund Managers, Mortgage Originators, Mortgage Servicers, Insurance and Capital Markets to present Clear Capital as a leader in real estate data and analytics.  Your exceptional knowledge of a complete solution set will continue to establish Clear Capital as the leader.  Your ability to prospect and close new business, grow existing business, expand the overall customer relationship, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction at every touch point will measure your success. 

What You Will Work On

    • Convert prospects into customer relationships and transition them to Customer Success.
    • Sell Clear Capital products and solutions to new and existing customers to meet or exceed RE Analytics revenue goals.
    • Lead a product-focused sales team of managers and reps once scale potential is proven.
    • Document leads, sales activity, and forecasts in Clear Capital’s CRM.
    • Build high-trust relationships with third-party stakeholders by educating them on valuation products and services.
    • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing relationships in real estate, lending, servicing, and secondary markets, coordinating with internal teams.
    • Collaborate with Channel Partners and the Partnership Team to amplify product distribution and achieve channel revenue goals.
    • Educate Customer Success Managers on optimal use of Clear Capital data and analytics products.
    • Provide feedback to product management to enhance current offerings and support development of new solutions.
    • Apply consultative problem-solving techniques, understand customer business models, and collaborate with product and marketing teams to support sales activity, pricing negotiations, and solution delivery.

Who We Are Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics or related discipline, MBA is a plus.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of related sales experience in the financial services sector or real estate industry.
    • Working knowledge of the primary and secondary markets and related real estate asset products such as mortgage and asset backed securities.
    • Deep understanding of consultative solution sales models with the ability to craft and communicate complex propositions.
    • Success in working closely with business leaders, subject matter experts and practitioners in developing strategies and tactics that drive targeted programs and create wins.
    • Experience selling in a multi-product environment.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
    • Exemplary interpersonal style, bringing a positive, problem-solving oriented approach to both internal and external contacts.
    • Innovative problem solving skills to resolve basic to moderately complex issues.
    • Demonstrated ability to research complex issues as they develop and present uniquely creative solutions.

What You Can Expect

    • Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $140,000- $187,500  annually, depending on your location, experience, and qualifications. Additional compensation offerings include a company profit-sharing bonus program, communication stipends, and referral bonuses.
