As we continue to expand across Europe, we are looking for a Regional Marketing Manager to run marketing efforts across the DACH region, and lead our strategic initiatives focused on lead generation and revenue growth. You will develop and implement comprehensive regional strategies to optimally reach, engage and convert our local audiences, collaborating closely with our sales teams. You’ll focus on up-leveling our brand awareness, driving demand for growth and helping delight and retain our B2B customers across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and SMB, as well as our key personas (designers & developers).
You’ll be part of the EMEA Marketing Team and partner closely with Sales, Global Demand Generation, Marketing Ops, Product Marketing, and Design and Developer Advocate teams to connect marketing initiatives and tactics to the wider vision and mission of the business.
This role can be held from our Berlin hub or remotely within Germany.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Execute the demand generation strategy with local DACH nuances: Build and execute demand generation and field marketing strategies and programmes for the DACH region to support the overarching Global & INTL marketing goals. Drive brand awareness (measured through sign-ups) and generate pipeline (measured through SAO + PG).
Influence the digital & Content Marketing Strategy: Work with the International and Global marketing teams to regionalise global content and programmes to resonate locally amongst the DACH audience.
Develop a partnership with Sales: Collaborate with regional Sales partners to deliver a sales-led marketing strategy, including net-new and existing customer expansion (i.e. upsells and cross-sells).
Global collaboration: Work closely with global & international marketing team members to deliver consistent and impactful marketing results through the funnel and across multiple channels.
Performance tracking and budget: Build frameworks and processes to ensure team success, including the tracking and measurement of all marketing programs and spend.
Regional leadership: As this is a highly collaborative and visible role, you’ll be the face of DACH marketing and brand ambassador for Figma.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of marketing or proven experience within the DACH region
Experience building and driving full funnel Demand Gen strategies
You have incredible communication skills: an effective communicator, you're able to set vision and influence partners
A dynamic project manager, as confirmed through your varied revenue-driving experiences
Experienced leading multiple types of field events, and you’ve experienced all the things that help make events a success
You're a sophisticated problem solver, and collaborating with management to find success and pivot to overcome challenges
While not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
You have a love for content, both written and visual, and feel at home proofreading in German and English
You have data-driven yet creative mind, you bring new insights to existing projects and continuously push the team to try new approaches
You love to bring people together. You drive team collaboration, and also enjoy working with people outside of your team and the company.
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
