  • You will join an international digital pathology company headquartered in Ireland, with a strong and growing U.S. footprint.
  •  The business is established, revenue-generating, and trusted by existing U.S. clients, yet still operating with the energy, pace, and ambition of a startup.
  • This is a destination role for someone who wants real ownership, visible impact, and the chance to define how a commercial organization evolves nationally.

About this Role

  • You're someone who understands US diagnostic laboratory economics and is motivated by building, scaling and leading through change.
  • This opportunity will particularly appeal to someone hands on, who feels constrained by large corporate structures and wants genuine autonomy, strategic influence and the chance to lead a market defining transformation, at pace.

What you’ll help us achieve;

  • This is a very hands on sales role
  • You will own and lead the US commercial strategy for Diagnexia translating market insight into actionable growth plans across services and platform adoption.
  • You will scale and develop the US commercial organisation, growing the sales/ commercial team from its current footprint to support aggressive expansion over the next 12 to 24 months, while retaining and motivating high performing existing team members.
  • Lead sales growth across the U.S., with a strong balance of new logo acquisition and strategic account development. (you'll be part of the sales team - hands on, boots on the ground)
  • Define and execute the U.S. commercial strategy and territory model as the business scales. Evaluate how best to structure coverage geographically, segment accounts, and optimise selling motions for maximum impact.
  • Drive field-based engagement. You will be boots on the ground, visiting and building relationships with laboratory executives and pathologists, leading sales cycles end-to-end, and coaching your team to elevate performance.
  • Be a voice for the customer back into product and operations. Gather real-world feedback, distil market insights, and work with international teams to influence product enhancements, service design, and competitive positioning.
  • Grow and develop a scalable sales organisation. You will refine the playbook, hire and coach a team, and create routines that support predictable, repeatable success.
  • Training required for the role may include ISMS, GLP, DocuSign and GDPR awareness

Required Skills and Experience:

  • You are a senior, seasoned sales leader with national U.S. territory experience in digital pathology, diagnostics, or pathology services.
  • You understand the U.S. pathology landscape deeply, including the buyers, decision-makers, and the clinical and operational pressures laboratories face every day.
  • Your credibility comes from being hands on and present in the field. You build trust through real engagement, lead from the front, and consistently close complex, high-value business.
  • You have navigated broad territories and know how to manage sophisticated, multi-stakeholder pathology sales environments with confidence and precision.
  • You bring strong working knowledge of TC/PC, alongside a practical understanding of pathology reporting workflows and how revenue is generated, protected, and grown within U.S. diagnostic models.
  • You understand reimbursement structures, margin drivers, and how commercial decisions translate into sustainable growth.
  • You have a proven track record of building, coaching, and scaling high-performing commercial teams in technology-enabled healthcare or diagnostics.
  • You balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution, knowing when to personally drive a deal and when to empower your team to deliver.
  • You are comfortable operating in growth-stage, venture-backed environments. You bring ambition without ego, pragmatism without complacency, and contribute actively to shaping strategy rather than simply executing a fixed playbook.
