About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Amazon Ads Manager who lives and breathes Amazon advertising. As the most experienced ads specialist on the team, you will own campaign strategy, execution, and performance optimization across multiple client accounts.

This is a results-driven role focused on maximizing performance, hitting KPIs, and scaling profitable growth while maintaining budget efficiency. You will also act as the internal subject-matter expert on Amazon advertising, staying ahead of platform trends, beta opportunities, and evolving best practices.

Strong communication skills are essential, as this role includes daily client interaction via Slack and leading weekly performance meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify growth opportunities
  • Build, launch, and continuously refine campaigns aligned with client KPIs
  • Manage and optimize advertising budgets across multiple accounts
  • Use third-party tools to improve efficiency and performance visibility
  • Set up and manage deals, coupons, and promotional campaigns
  • Test new campaign types, creative formats, and keyword strategies
  • Make data-driven decisions on bidding, budgeting, and targeting
  • Analyze performance to identify inefficiencies and scale winning strategies

Account Health & Operational Awareness

  • Understand how account health metrics impact advertising success
  • Identify operational issues (suppressed listings, inventory constraints, policy violations) that affect ad performance
  • Collaborate with operations teams to resolve issues impacting campaigns
  • Communicate risks and operational blockers to clients and internal stakeholders

Client Communication & Reporting

  • Serve as the primary client contact for advertising performance
  • Maintain regular communication via Slack
  • Lead weekly internal and client-facing performance reviews
  • Translate advertising data into clear business insights
  • Provide performance updates and strategic recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure accountability and alignment across all deliverables

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with catalog, creative, and inventory teams to align strategy
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver cohesive client growth plans

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing Amazon Ads campaigns
  • Experience working with CPG brands and understanding category dynamics
  • Proven track record managing $5M+ in total ad spend
  • Deep expertise in Amazon ad formats, tools, and optimization strategies
  • Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central / Amazon Vendor Central operations and how account health impacts ads
  • Experience with third-party Amazon advertising software
  • Strong grasp of digital advertising fundamentals (attribution, funnel stages, audience strategy)
  • Highly analytical and performance-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable leading meetings and presenting performance insights
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote environment
