About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our team supporting a commercially focused account. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on blending scientific understanding with strategic thinking and enjoys building trusted client partnerships. You’ll work across multiple therapy areas, gaining exposure to diverse scientific content while driving the delivery of impactful commercial programs and events.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, strategically aligned communications and events for our clients. Your work will span everything from scientific and strategic consultation to meeting planning and execution, ensuring all initiatives meet business objectives and exceed expectations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as a trusted day-to-day contact for clients, ensuring seamless communication and delivery across all project touchpoints.
  • Managing a range of commercial and meetings-based projects, including live, virtual, and hybrid events such as advisory boards, product launches, and sales meetings.
  • Leading internal project teams to deliver work that is scientifically sound, creative, and strategically aligned.
  • Overseeing project finances, including budget management, SOW development, and forecasting, ensuring accuracy and accountability across all initiatives.
  • Overseeing project timelines, budgets, and team resourcing to ensure efficiency and excellence in execution.
  • Providing scientific and strategic insight across therapeutic areas and identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Supporting existing business development and contributing to new business opportunities to achieve financial targets.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a mix of scientific acumen, strategic thinking, and exceptional organizational skills.

You will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in life sciences (advanced degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a medical communications or advertising agency, ideally with exposure to commercial and meetings-driven projects.
  • Strong project management experience, including budgeting and financial accountability.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster trust and collaboration across clients and internal teams.
  • Working knowledge of Veeva or similar systems (a plus).

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
