Job Title: Account Manager 

Who Are We Looking For? 

BS&A Software, a leader in municipal software solutions, is seeking an Account Manager focused on growth within our existing customer base. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller who understands the nuances of local government operations and is motivated by helping clients modernize through our SaaS platform. You’ll play a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying opportunities, guiding customers through migrations, and expanding their use of BS&A’s solutions. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own a book of business tied to SaaS migrations, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities within your assigned accounts. 

  • Build and strengthen trusted relationships with municipal leaders and department heads, positioning yourself as a strategic partner. 

  • Proactively uncover opportunities by aligning client needs with BS&A’s expanding portfolio of SaaS solutions and payment processing tools. 

  • Lead customers through the decision-making process when migrating to SaaS, creating urgency and demonstrating ROI. 

  • Deliver tailored presentations and value propositions to finance directors, IT leaders, and city managers that highlight efficiency, risk reduction, and cost savings. 

  • Collaborate with internal solution engineers, implementation teams, and leadership to close deals and ensure seamless delivery. 

  • Manage your pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting, opportunity tracking, and consistent communication with leadership. 

  • Stay current on product roadmap developments and industry trends to position new features and solutions as must-haves for your clients. 

  • Represent BS&A at client meetings, regional events, conferences, and roadshows to strengthen relationships and expand opportunities. 

What You’ll Need 

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS sales within software or government technology. 

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding quotas and driving measurable revenue growth. 

  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and the unique challenges of municipal government clients. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build consensus across diverse stakeholders. 

  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to close. 

  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) for client meetings, demos, and presentations.
