The Position:
FastSpring is seeking a results-driven Campaign Manager to bring their strategic vision and execution expertise to design, roll out, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns that generate valuable leads, especially in the video game industry.
The ideal candidate brings strong B2B campaign management experience, a results-driven mindset, and adaptable mentality to suit the fluid video game payments landscape. Experience marketing to video game publishers, developers, or studios is required.
This role will focus on the complete campaign lifecycle, including ideating new campaigns that align with our ideal customer profile, coordinating with stakeholders to plan and execute those campaigns, measuring campaign outcomes, and refining strategies for future campaigns. This scope will include broad far-reaching upper funnel campaigns and laser-targeted account-based marketing campaigns. The most important part will be reaching new potential video game customers with compelling and approachable marketing campaigns.
You'll be joining a marketing team energized by both brand growth and professional development. Prepare for a tremendous learning opportunity with a team that boasts exceptional employee satisfaction scores and prides themselves on fostering an environment where creativity thrives, ideas are valued, and team members feel empowered to experiment and grow.
The title of this position is "Campaign Manager", but we're big believers that if you have a different title that more accurately describes your contributions, there should be flexibility. Bring your ideas around that and let's discuss.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute multi-channel demand generation campaigns targeting video game publishers, developers, and studios.
- Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle: strategy, messaging, execution, optimization, and reporting.
- Drive qualified lead acquisition across inbound and outbound channels.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales team to align campaign targeting, lead generation, and execution.
- Partner with the Product Marketing team to ensure campaign messaging aligns with product positioning, use cases, and differentiators.
- Collaborate with the broader Marketing team to refine assets such as landing pages, case studies, and event materials.
- Define success metrics and KPIs for each campaign, including lead generation and revenue.
- Analyze campaign performance to inform future campaign planning.
- Present clear, actionable insights to company leadership.
- Maintain a strong understanding of trends in payments and monetization in the video game industry.
- Travel 2x per quarter for events and team on-sites.
- Have fun!
Great candidates for this role will have:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, campaign management, or demand generation.
- Proven track record of driving measurable growth via multi-channel campaigns.
- Analytical skills with experience using CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage several campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience working in or with the video game industry is required.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with the payments industry.
- Experience working directly for a game studio or publisher.
- A background in marketing SaaS, software, fintech, or other digital-first companies.
- Familiarity with marketing campaigns tied to industry events or trade shows.
