Job Overview

We’re helping our client, a modern beauty brand, find a Community Associate to support day-to-day community engagement across social and owned community platforms.

This role is highly execution-focused and detail-oriented. You’ll act as a frontline voice of the brand—ensuring timely, accurate, and warm interactions while helping foster an active, welcoming online community.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and naturally thoughtful in written communication, with experience engaging customers in a brand-forward, community-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to Instagram and Facebook DMs and comments on a daily basis
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and on-brand responses across all community touchpoints
  • Review and correct missed or incorrectly answered messages when needed
  • Flag recurring questions, customer concerns, or sentiment trends to the internal team
  • Actively engage within the brand’s community group by commenting on member posts to encourage conversation
  • Respond to questions on community announcement posts
  • Support moderation efforts to maintain a respectful, inclusive, and on-brand environment
  • Maintain consistent brand presence and responsiveness during designated business hours

Must-Have

  • Experience in community management, social media engagement, or customer support for a consumer brand
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone to match a premium brand voice
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in customer-facing communication
  • Ability to manage high-volume messages and engagement efficiently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, execution-heavy role

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brands
  • Familiarity with social media moderation tools and/or CRM platforms
  • Passion for community-driven brands and customer experience
